BOHEM Gıda Tarım is a foreign trade company founded in Mecidiyeköy, Istanbul. We buy food and agricultural products in the country where they are produced and deliver them to buyers in third countries without bringing them into Türkiye.
Why transit trade?
Much of the world's food trade runs through long chains between where a product is grown and where it is consumed. In these chains, the most value is created by the link that brings the right product together with the right buyer and the right documents.
BOHEM was founded to be that link. We buy a product from a producer in one country and sell it to an importer in another. While the goods follow their own route, we manage the contract, payment, documents and logistics coordination from our office in Istanbul.
In this model there is neither warehouse rent nor a second customs procedure. The gain comes from good sourcing, good contracts and good follow-up.

Our name and our mark
To us, the word Bohem speaks of a free-moving spirit that does not fit into moulds. So does our trade: from wherever the product grows to wherever the buyer is. The letter B in our logo carries two grains of wheat; one stands for the source, the other for the destination.

We buy products as close to the producer as possible, not from the end of a chain of intermediaries.

Every value the buyer specifies is carried over one to one into the supplier contract.
Meticulous with documents
We check every document, from the bill of lading to the health certificate, before loading.

Our field of activity
Our articles of association cover the purchase, sale, import and export of food, agricultural products, meat and dairy products, bakery products, fresh fruit and vegetables, olives and olive oil, seafood, animal feed and agricultural machinery. For transit trade, we have grouped these areas into ten product groups.

Our office is in Mecidiyeköy, Şişli, on Büyükdere Avenue. For meetings, we kindly ask you to make an appointment by email in advance.
